Get Involved
Cloud 9 Community Farms is a community-led nonprofit with a mission to foster leadership, resilience, and environmental stewardship through youth and community-led food and garden programs.

Our work spans providing fresh food, increasing green space, mentoring young gardeners, and reconnecting communities to nature and their food systems by re-activating underutilized spaces with community-led gardens.
Currently, we operate a series of rain gardens in West Philadelphia, a food pantry, and three community gardens. Our programs support low-income seniors and families, and youth leadership development.
Get Involved in the Volunteer Program
Cloud 9 is powered by community members and volunteers. We welcome all experience levels to the farm! Whether you've been gardening for decades, or just started with your first houseplant, there's always space to learn and help! Check our calendar for farm volunteer days
And we have volunteer opportunities off the farm! Check out current volunteer opportunities below.
Email volunteers@cloud9communityfarms.org to learn more, or or to let us know if you'd like to volunteer on the farm outside of farm volunteer days.
Donate
Every donation helps – large and small – each of you help grow Cloud 9’s gardens and food access programs.
Your contribution supports the growth of community-led urban farms, gardens, food access and education programs that explore the urban ecosystem, and training and technical assistance to support burgeoning community-led garden programs.
